Gautam Menon's Vaaranam Aayiram was released in Telugu as Surya S/o Krishnan. But instead of dubbing Vinnaithandi Varuvaayaa the director is remaking it in Telugu as Yemaya Chesave. The movie produced by Indira Productions has Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in lead roles. The music of the film is by A.R. Rahman and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa. The story revolves around the love between an aspiring film maker who wants to make it big in his profession, and a Christian girl. Events force him to choose between his ambition and love.
