AccuTOPO interfaces the native location and mapping abilities of iPhone OS 3.0 with U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) elevation data. Elevation data is available on land everywhere in the world between 60 deg. N and 56 deg. S latitude, and in Alaska.
Upon opening, AccuTOPO will calculate your approximate present position, mark it on a street map, and display the corresponding latitude/longitude, along with USGS (or SRTM) elevation. If a street address is available, it will display also.
Tapping on the map will reveal the lat/long, USGS (or SRTM) elevation, and street address (if available) for the tapped point.
Users have the option to switch between street and aerial photo/street hybrid maps at any time.
AccuTOPO also interfaces with our Find Elev Terrain Map Web app, available for free, right now at:

If you're a long-time Find Elev user, here's you're chance to step up to the next level.
