Anquet Maps Lite

Anquet Maps Lite is a free version of Anquet Maps for the iPhone. It is fully functional but does not allow the transfer of purchased maps. You can however use the free installed maps to see what the application provides.

Anquet Maps for the iPhone replaces your paper map collection with the latest digital maps, enabling you to plot routes directly on your iPhone, or transfer them from the free Anquet Maps Mac software.

There are easy route planning tools that enable you to plot routes on familiar digital mapping directly on your iPhone, ready to use outdoors. You really will be amazed at how easy it is to get started with digital mapping!

You can define your own digital map from within our Anquet Maps Mac software, pay for it and transfer it to your iPhone for use straight away. You will have access to the largest continually expanding range of digital mapping in the UK, including Ordnance Survey Explorer, Ordnance Survey Landranger, Aerial Photography and A-Z Street Atlases.

We do however include some free digital maps to get you started!

Anquet Maps for the iPhone provides full route and waypoint creation with a simple and intuitive interface. You can tap in a waypoint or start a route directly on the device.

The GPS display provides a compass, realtime data feedback and navigation tools. The data you wish to view is fully customisable, allowing the user to specify the displayed data such as speed, heading, average speed, distance to waypoint, bearing, time to waypoint, distance to end, altitude, maximum speed and distance.

If you are navigating, the next waypoint name is displayed and the compass arrow will point to the realtime direction of that waypoint. You current position is clearly shown on the screen.

The track-log display provides instant access to your live track-log data. This too is fully customisable, allowing you to specify the data you would like to be displayed such as elapsed time, speed, average speed, maximum speed, distance, heading,distance to waypoint, bearing, time to waypoint, distance to end and altitude are all definable.

Tracks can be started and reset with a simple tap, and also can be saved upon completion to later view or import into Anquet Maps Mac.

Locating places is quickly achieve by either place-name or National Grid/Lat/Long. coordinates.

The interface is clean, can be de-cluttered in an instant and map display is smooth and speedy.

So if your interest is walking, rambling, cycling or in fact any activity in the great outdoors, Anquet Maps for the iPhone provides the most feature rich navigational software available.
