AquaLights
You can NOW identify vessels in the dark using only the navigational light configurations!
Tugs, RAMs, Pilot Boats, Fishing Vessels, etc. can all be identified via AquaLights' extensive database. Use our innovative 3-light drill down method and AquaLights does the rest of the work for you.
Example of Use:
Looking out over a dark horizon, you see a Red light on top, a Red light in the second, and a White light in the third position. Tap those lights on the screen and AquaLights immediately identifies that configuration as a Vessel Aground.
This type of information, known as 'Rules of the Road', is typically the toughest portion of the exam for USCG Captain's Licensing. And rightly so. Knowing whether a tug is pushing or pulling a load is crucial in determining the direction in which you are going to steer.
