Two maps - one screen on your iphone.

Pan/Pinch/Zoom as usual using TWO maps on the screen.

Touch the white button on the right of the screen to alter the map type - Normal, Satellite or Hybrid. You can also select to display the current location (and zoom to it automatically) on one of the maps using the toggle button.

Know quirk and working on this - occasionally the location on map may zoom to ocean - just review the settings and toggle the switch back and forth - and your location should appear.
