FlightTouch
FlightTouch is a native iPhone/iPod Touch application that provides pilots with a simple, visual solution to aviation calculations normally done with an E6B (Wizz Wheel) or Pilot Navigation computer. FlightTouch provides calculations for navigation, en route performance, fuel, wind, weather and a comprehensive range of conversions.
Don't use Google Earth to plan your flights, use a real calculator! FlightTouch focuses on providing graphical diagrams wherever possible and linking related calculations.
FlightTouch now includes Weight & Balance templates and named Waypoints. Create and use as many templates and waypoints as you can store on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
You can even import Waypoint data from your own XML files.
The complete online help for FlightTouch is available at the FlightTouch web site: http://www.flighttouch.com, so you can see how everything works and all the features.

What's new
FlightTouch can now read suitably structured XML files to load Waypoint data. If you select the File Maintenance menu, you can then select Import Waypoint Data to load the data.
To make it easier to merge waypoint data, all waypoints now have a cycle date which marks the cycle when the data was last validated.
To get you started, FlightTouch provides some demonstration files based on the DAFIF information as available in 2006. Please Note: the demonstration data is horribly out of date and SHOULD NOT be used for aviation purposes, but it gives you a basis to start your own files with current data. If you are interested in creating your own files, please get the schemas and the documentation from http://www.flighttouch.com/xmlschema
To make it easier to access met data around the world, FlightTouch now allows you to bookmark any web site under the Weather & Web menu. The web sites for Airservices Australia, Nav Canada and UK Met Office GA are pre-bookmarked. ADDS TAFs is now fixed so you can enter the station name and AirNav.com is also included in this menu.
Weight & Balance now shows the station arm data when in landscape mode.
