Grid Nav

Grid Nav is an application that allows users the ability to obtain accurate location data (coordinates, elevation, course and speed) that is displayed in both angular geographic coordinates as well as in Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) format. The user can also convert between angular coordinates given in decimal degrees or degrees, minutes, seconds format to MGRS.

This application allows solders to easily orient themselves on a military map using GPS data as well as a calculator. Being location-aware is a basic element of military operations. This application increases situational awareness and allows location to quickly be determined and displayed in a usable format.

Features:
- Uses Apple Core Location services to be able to determine user location using a variety of means and to a varying degree of accuracy while balancing battery usage.
- Displays user's geographical coordinates to a high degree of precision in degrees and in MGRS format.
- Allows users to find MGRS coordinates from decimal and DMS coordinates.
- Users are able to specify the degree of accuracy and for how long the application seeks location data.
