Finding the best interstate exits for trucks will never again be a challenge. This app uses the GPS on your iPhone. This application is incredibly fast and intuitive, even without an internet connection. Click “…More” to learn why you should download this App today!
What's in it: 2800 trucks stops: from small independent stops to big brands like Flying J, Loves, TA, Pilot, Petro, Pacific Pride and AMBest. Each includes details on overnight spaces and some amenities. What else is within a .20 (2/10 mile) radius of the stop? Better restaurant? Motel? It's here.
Weigh scales, turn outs and rest areas broken down by heading. Low clearance alerts. Nearly 200 truck washes from Blue Beacon to Eagle; Walmart (Parking or No Parking reports) and Kmart; thousands of service locations like Speedco, Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt, Volvo, Western Star and more. All local on your phone so it works even without internet access. With service, you can call or get directions!
You’ve had it happen; you’re on a route that you don't know like the back of your hand yet. You were unfamiliar with that part of the interstate, so you get out your heavy books and maps to plan your next stop or you can fiddle with your GPS unit which is loaded with stuff you don't want. You may have your favorite brands and just go by those but they are not on every route and some are better than others. So you finally stop at one with a restaurant that gives you a stomach ache. Then an hour later, you see that the next truck stop has one of your favorites within a short walk! If only you’d known!
iExit's unique favorites system. Pick your own favorites in different categories. While traveling, easily know where each is hundreds of miles down the road! It only takes a few seconds and allows you to plan way ahead. Using favorites mode, you can filter Rest Areas and Turnouts by the direction you are heading. Select a singe FAVORITE name to bring up just those locations down the road. Use it to filter service locations. You don't need to bother with some brand you don't want.
The iExit Trucks data is stored on your phone, so calling upon a website for information is not necessary. This is great for when you’re in rural areas or otherwise out of range for cell phone or internet access.
iExit capabilities are going to impress you. On average, it only takes ten seconds for the app to detect what direction you’re taking on the interstate and load the information for upcoming exits, including your favorites. It integrates nicely with Google Maps to display up to 150 points of interest on a map and provides connections to directions as well.
The app will tell you if your destination is on the left or right and how far away it is. With an iPod touch, you have the lookup features but not the navigation.
