Who needs the sun, when you have GPS?
LocationGPS is a compass utility that calculates your bearing based on GPS coordinates. Simply walk in a straight line to get your current bearing. The faster you are moving, the more accurate the bearing will be.
Information is displayed via compass. The flipside of the application displays the following text-based information:
- Latitude
- Longitude
- Accuracy of GPS coordinates
- Bearing
A Note On Accuracy:
Since there is no magnetic compass in the iPhone, the application relies on multiple GPS coordinates to determine bearing. Therefore, one must move in a straight line. Further, the faster you move, the more accurate the reading will be.
