Near
Just by entering the name or a type of business or product you are looking for, NEAR will search through a database of millions of businesses and find the ones near to your current location by using the GPS or WiFi on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
The displayed list will show the direction and distance to each location. Tapping on an item in the list will give you a more detailed view including the phone number, address, and a small map. Extended entries also include business hours, links to websites and reviews.
You can call or map directions to the business by simply tapping on one of the large easy to read buttons in the detail view, or save the location or search to your favorites or address book.
