An iPhone application (also compatible with iPod Touch and iPad, some features will not work, eg camera) that passively detects extreme shock events using the tri-axial onboard accelerometers such as would occur in a collision or explosion/IED, automatically begins taking pictures and reports GPS coordinates, elevation, course and speed along with pictures taken during the event in an automatically generated email.
Features:
- A battery-saving user interface displays a clock.
- Upon an extreme acceleration the camera is triggered to take a series of photographs, record the location and time data and then generate an email that the user may edit or may send as-is.
- Requires only one input from the user, the sending of the email, but ensures that the user wants to send an event recorded.
- Event pictures are stored in the iPhone photo reel.
