The socialGPS application enables you and your friends to get the most out of outdoor activities by combining Social Networking and GPS technology into one application. Whether you are planning a cycling ride, skiing, running a race, or just going for a hike socialGPS allows you to plan, invite, locate and share with your friends**.

This is the first application that enables you and your friends to easily plan an activity, display location, statistics, and share with others in real time. The accompanying social networking web portal www.mysocialgps.com enables you to add friends, plan routes, seamlessly access your activities and those shared by your friends and others. New or shared routes are transferred to your iPhone via your “To-Do” list, allowing you to quickly create a new activity based a route.

socialGPS provides a user friendly interface that combines the map and route information with pictures, audio and text into a single “Activity Note” that can be automatically synchronized with your www.mysocialgps.com account and shared with friends.

Creation of Points of Interest (POI) and/or waypoint is intuitive with built in features such as geo-tagged pictures, audio, and text descriptions which are all combined and presented as a single “Points Note”.

An “Info Note” provides detailed statistics, such as current / average / maximum speed or pace and others, in a user friendly format. In addition, a “Compass Note” is provided to show current heading and allow you to easily navigate to a user settable waypoint.

* Upon installation socialGPS, allows you access to your two (2) most recent activities and display three (3) points of interest.

**You will only be able to view other participants locations and statistics for the first 15 minutes of an activity.
