Sun Compass for iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone

This compass app determines your direction by calculating the current sun position.

All you need to do is to orient your device to the north or to the sun and press the corresponding button. Additional you can drag the sun symbol of the compass to the real sun direction. Each of those actions will show you the right direction.

This app can add the missing compass functionality to the iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone or extend the existing compass on iPhone 3GS.

If the sun is visible, it can be used for many different activities like appartment viewing, hiking or even sailing.

To do so it needs to know your location, which is looked up by different ways.

iPod Touch:
