In application mapping of a location makes it quick and easy to see where a bookmark is. The directions feature makes it just as quick and easy to get from you are to any place you have bookmarked.

The ability to save both GPS and Address bookmarks means that whatever is most convienant for you is the way to go. And the distance from a location feature makes it easy for you to find out how far you are from your house, your girlfriend's house, your car, or wherever else you have geotagged.
