Tiled Maps

       iOS Universal

Tiled Maps lets you carry the world with you, even when you're out of network range. Build your own maps using the TMS standard, or download zipped TMS files from http://mapknitter.org and load your iOS device up before you hit the road.

Tiled Maps can show you your exact location on the map and even orient the map to which ever way you're facing, just tap the 'tracking' icon in the corner of the screen to cycle through the modes.

By far the easiest way to produce a map pack is using MapTiler (http://www.maptiler.org). Load up to geo-referenced map and set it to Google Maps Compatible (TMS). Then zip up the output and load it on to your iOS device using iTunes and you're away laughing.
