!! Now with compass and instant map !!
GPSRecorder records your tracks, travels and hiking with autonomy in mind and lets you share it with friends and family.
GPSRecorder allows you to have a lot of info about your position, but also to record for a long time : Launch it, put it in your pocket and experience hours of recording. We reached a record 8 hours of recording.
With GPS Recorder, you get your speed, position or altitude of your current position.
You can review your tracks on your phone, including startpoint, number of points recorded, or distance travelled, export as gpx or Google Earth files for use with other software.
It is perfect to
- record all your positions during a shooting day to geolocalize your pictures,
- keep a record of the track you've used during a walk, and share it with your friends and relatives on google earth,
- know how much you've run, what speed.
- know how much kilometers you've made in a day.
Exports to houdahGPS, by email or to great sites as everytrail.com or trailmapping.
======================
Don't lock your iPhone. It stops your GPS, and the app doesn't need that to keep your battery.
Keep your phone in a front pocket or arm band to get the GPS signal.
If you need to stop the app, you can still go back to your previous track and click "Continue"

Upgraded the history / previous tracks to something nicer. The history list is now able to show a preview of the tracks you've done, and adds that preview in your export email.
Two bugs were found and corrected.
