uTrackMe Beacon

With uTrackMe Beacon you can publish your location to your own website and share real-time location information with who you want. It is the iPhone or iPad client for your very own tracking service.

uTrackMe Beacon is designed to run in the background and use as little power as possible. It will only use the GPS when necessary making it possible to keep uTrackMe Beacon running in the background all the time.

uTrackMe Beacon is "power source aware" and has two seperate modes of operation: one for when the device is plugged into an external power source and one for when the device is running on battery. This ensures an optimum trade off between sending up-to-date location data and battery life in all situations.

uTrackMe Beacon allows you to publish your location to any web server that supports server side scripting. No third party tracking service required. A ready to use php script and the complete API description are available on our website http://www.fusionsoda.com/utrackme.

Don't know how to setup your own tracking service? uTrackMe Beacon supports the following third party tracking services:
• RCE-Tracking (Under development)
• EOTrackMe (Paid subscription required)

Beaware; continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
