FireReady is the official Country Fire Authority (CFA) iPad application for bushfire information in Victoria. Download to assess your own FireReady status and to remain aware of incidents around you in real-time.
This comprehensive application puts CFA and Department of Sustainability & Environment (DSE) bushfire information at your fingertips, enabling access to up-to-date bushfire warnings and advice when you're out and about.
As the only official CFA iPad application, you can be sure that all incidents and warnings are provided with the same consistency as the CFA website located at cfa.vic.gov.au

• Live incident map showing all current CFA and DSE incidents and warnings issued for Victoria
• GPS integration to determine your current location and surrounding incidents
• Emergency Warnings, Watch and Act, and Advice information as issued by the CFA and DSE

• View today's Total Fire Ban Status

• Listen to the Standard Emergency Warning Signal (SEWS) used to alert the public before broadcast of urgent safety messages

** Due to technical limitations, location-based information and telephone calls to the Bushfire Information Hotline are not available on the iPod Touch. All remaining features are available as above.

What's new
IMPORTANT:
A newer version of FireReady is available for both iPhone and iPad. This iPad only version will be removed from the iTunes store in April 2012 and is no longer supported.
This update will alert you to this and provide a direct link to download the new version. It is a free download and contains a wealth of improvements.
