iCoMo News

iCoMo News converges three major news media outlets in Columbia, MO. It includes KOMU News (an NBC affiliate), the Columbia Missourian (a local newspaper), and KBIA Radio (an NPR radio station). iCoMo News was designed by Courtney Schroeder, Misty Anderson, and Alex Tribou as a capstone project for the Journalism School at the University of Missouri.

What's new

- Completely new user interface and icon.

- KOMU radar now needs no "double-tap to zoom", thanks to the new HD satellite images.
- Closings button remains hidden until closings actually occur.

- Missourian section picker made more obvious (sections are shown as a separate table view).
- Missourian articles now open in iCoMo News, rather than kicking out to Safari.

- KBIA podcasts given better names, which aren't cut down to fit.
- KBIA podcasts also open in iCoMo News, with a scrollable audio player.

- The entire app is *much* faster, opening in a split second, rather than the long "black screen" on the current version.
