Newstop – News You Choose, Now on your iPhone!

While the terrible events of 26/11 were unfolding in Mumbai , many of us at Mobisy were looking for news while on the move. We did not find anything notable so we decided to create a news aggregator using 'Mobitop', our revolutionary platform to create and distribute downloadable Mobile applications.

Newstop is a downloadable no frills, one click mobile application which aggregates news from different sources and delivers it right on Mobile phone.You can choose your own news sources from the menu (currently India specific). You also have sports feed which will give you updates on the latest cricket scores etc. Our techie friends can also view aggregate of keyword searches on 'Twitter' and 'Google Blog search'. For example, if I want to keep myself updated with all the tweets about Mobisy, I can simply add 'Mobisy' twitter feed to Newstop !!

What's new

Added the iPhone activity indicator because its live animation catches the user's eye and tells the user to wait without providing specific information about its degree of completion.
