PinApp
GEOTAGGING ON IPAD AND IN IPHOTO
With PinApp you browse through your iPad's photos and easily set GPS locations ("geotags") on a map.
PHOTOS ON IPAD
Your photos within the Photos app will not be changed in any way, but PinApp creates exact copies in your 'Saved Photos' album, when writing geotags. Later, you can sync these photos with your PC or Mac.
PHOTO IN IPHOTO ON YOUR MAC
If you have a Mac, you can also view and geotag photos from your iPhoto application! Now you can geotag your vacation snaps and re-experience your trips with a finger on the map.
To communicate with iPhoto on the Mac, PinApp needs a server application, which you can download for free from the support site. The 'PinAppServer' runs on Mac OS X 10.5 or later with iPhoto '09 and iPhoto '11.

(Please note that PinApp needs Location Services to be turned on, if you want to access the photos in the Photos app. This is a restriction set by Apple and does not mean that PinApp is gathering or sharing these data in any way, rest assured)
