Quan Yin is one of the most universally beloved of deities in the Buddhist tradition. As a Bodhisattva, or true Enlightened One, she vowed to remain in the earthly realms, not to enter the heavenly worlds until all other living beings have achieved enlightenment and have become liberated from the pain-filled cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.
With the Quan Yin app you can view a Slideshow to the beautiful music of renowned composer Ken Davis. You can also browse through all the images, set any of them as your iPhone or iPod wallpaper, and email them to a friend or to yourself. The emails will include links to largest database online of related Quan Yin wallpapers FREE to download for use on your computer. Also free of charge will be a link to submit your birth data for a FREE personalized 16 page Vedic Horoscope emailed to you.
How to use the Quan Yin App
When Quan Yin starts you will be presented with the Home view. From there you can:
Tap the “Relaxation Slideshow of Quan Yin” button. The Slideshow will start and play for about 5 minutes. While in the Slideshow your iPhone or iPod Touch will not dim or Auto-Lock. This resets after the Slideshow ends, or at any time you can tap the screen to return to the Home view.
Tap the “Browse Quan Yin Images” button. In this mode you can use the “Left” and “Right” arrow buttons to browse all the images included in the Quan Yin app. In Browse mode, tap the screen to toggle the toolbar on and off. Then tap “Save for Wallpaper” and the photo you are currently viewing will be saved to your device as Wallpaper. Tap "Email to a Friend" and the photo you are currently viewing will open in an email view for you to address and send to a friend. Please note: to use this feature you must have email setup on your iPhone or iPod Touch. To return to the Home view, tap the “Home” button.
To enjoy the Ken Davis track while in Slideshow or Browse mode, tap “Play Music” on the Home view. To stop the music playback, tap “Stop Music” on the Home view.
Quan Yin app has been tested on: iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch
