The problem with most GTD apps is that they focus on adding or managing tasks, instead of removing the tasks. This is why most often your todo list just keeps growing and few things get done.

CrossOut is a time management application designed to help users become more efficient in their life and work. Personal time management really is about "cross-out": first, you cross out things from your mind by putting them down into a system; then, you cross out items from the system one at a time. This application is designed to provide such a simple and reliable system while emphasizing the cross-out experience.

The application has a few unique features:

(1) Minimalist design. Adding a task can be as quick as two taps. Further details can be edited afterwards. Maximum screen space to display as many task items as possible.

(2) Swipe gestures support cross-out actions with animation. No check button. Simply swipe your finger across an item to cross it out. Swipe again to delete. To uncross, swipe to the left.

(3) "Stress Light": a stripe in the bottom of screen changes color to indicate how well you are managing your time.

(4) Shake to sort. The user can sort by priority and/or due date. Completed items are placed to the end of list. The preferences can be set in the Settings app.

(5) Multiple list support. The user can add as many lists as needed. New task not associated with any project can be stored in "Inbox".

(6) Badge number support. The application icon supports badge number. Inside the application, each list also shows the number of incomplete tasks inside that list.
