Decision Calculator is orginal, easy-to-use, yet sophisticated in its flexibility.
Just add a new decision to be made, such as which camera or car to buy, which job to take, where to go on vacation, which person is best for me, where to go to school - the possibilities are endless.
For each decision add the features that are important to you: pixels, zoom, memory, price, salary, location, job title, school reputation, personality, look-and-feel. You decide what the features are and how important each feature is to you.
Each feature can be on a subjective sliding scale from bad to good (how easy is it to use? what's the party life like?), a quantitative scale where you can set actual values (like memory size or salary range) or simply a binary setting as to whether the feature is available or not (are there stock options? can the camera use my current lenses? is there a grocery within walking distance? does she like dogs?).
Then add your choices, such as make and model, name of company or school, person you are considering, etc.
Finally click on the features for each choice, use the sliders to set your values and see how Decision Calculator ranks your choices! You can even add a custom note for each choice and feature, like "Free parking" or "Really cute smile."
