Remote control your Dock from your iPhone
Too lazy to get up and start iTunes on your iMac? Forgotten to shut down? Your girlfriend finds no end chatting with her best buddy? All's well that ends well - use KickStart. With KickStart you are in control - get your iPhone or iPod touch and remote control your Mac!
• Have your Mac's dock on your iPhone
• Start applications listed in the Mac's Dock
• Search for documents on your Mac from the iPhone
• Quit running applications
• Shut down your Mac
• Let a message pop up
The Dock:
Kickstart shows all applications that you have placed in your Mac's "Dock". You can start or quit them.
Shut down, reboot, sleep:
You don't have to get up - just use KickStart to perform these basic operations. If you have your iPod touch or iPhone with you - zero problem.
Runnig apps:
See all running apps. Quit them if neccessary without moving your mouse.
Search:
You can search for documents on your Mac via KickStart and read them on your iPhone. Currently PDF documents are supported. More document types will be added.
Send message to your Mac's screen:
If someone is using your Mac - send him a message.
Besides - although it's fun to remote control your Mac - there are a lot of situations when KickStart comes to be very handy. For example - use it as a very fast tool to quit applications, to start iPhoto or another application you have placed in your Mac's Dock.
The necessary server application comes as an easy to install dmg-file.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
• iPhone OS Vers. 2.2.1;
• Mac OS X vers. 10.5.1 for the Server App
Download the KickStart Server App from www.bananaglue.de
Please make shure that you download the newest Server version from www.bananaglue.de

You can now search for PDF documents on your Mac from your iPhone
-Authentication:
On the first connection you have to enter a PIN to access your Mac.
-Auto update:
KickStart Server now has an auto update feature.
