MatePad
MatePad is your perfect everyday math companion.
Use MatePad as a standard calculator, or as an advanced one, with support for variables. Mail you calculation to your colleagues or for later reading on your laptop. Plot your functions and attach them to your e-mails as pdf files. Insert any comments you like, recall recent entries and calculate analytic functions, too.
MatePad interface is clean and friendly.
Parenthesis are automatically added whenever possible at end of line (e.g. you can type "LOG(5
The last computed result (the 'Answer') may be recalled by pressing the short-cut key "Ans"
The "History" button recalls all recent entries in a sequence.
Use RAD button to switch from degrees to radians mode.
As an advanced calculator, you can assign values to variables, e.g.:
DIAMETER=10
AREA=(DIAMETER/2)^2xπ
gives the area of the circle whose diameter is 10.
Assigned variables are listed in alphabetical order in the table on the left side. By selecting an assigned variable its expression is recalled, too.
Logarithmic, hyperbolic, trigonometric functions are included.
