Method brings the idea of structured procrastination to the iPhone and iPod Touch. Structured procrastination is widely used as a way of improving productivity. The approach that Method uses can be summed up by: (10+2)*5 = 60. Work for 10 minutes, goof off for 2 minutes and repeat for 5 cycles. In so doing, you will have worked 50 of the last 60 minutes. It's an incredibly helpful and intuitive way of getting all of the little items off your to-do list, by having to commit to only 10 minutes at a time.

Method keeps track of the time intervals and provides the user with feedback about how much work he has done - how many of the work-play cycles you've done and how many minutes you've worked (and played!) overall.

Method offers multiple alert sounds to signal change in work status.

For users who want more flexibility in the time intervals, Method now allows them to change the work and off time intervals to better suit their needs.

What's new

Version 2.00 represents a complete re-write of the app incorporating a fresh new user interface, simplified controls and a more logical layout for the settings.

The application now attempts to restore its state after an incoming phone call.

The user can also choose whether or not the device should put the display to sleep or not.
