Outpost

Outpost allows people to manage their projects with Basecamp® (http://www.basecamphq.com), an online project management app from 37signals. Basecamp is widely acclaimed for its simplicity and effectiveness in organizing teams.

Outpost brings the power of Basecamp to your iPhone or iPod Touch, with comprehensive support for messages, milestones, to-dos, and comments. Outpost is also the first app for Basecamp which offers full offline capabilities.

Outpost has multiple Dashboard screens, giving you a broad overview of recent activity, your to-dos, and upcoming milestones across all of your projects. Recent changes can also be viewed project-by-project.

Add comments to individual messages, to-dos, and milestones to stay in touch with your team. Comments support Gravatar icons, so it’s easy to tell who’s who.

Sync effortlessly
All syncing in Outpost is automatic and happens in the background while you work. Projects are downloaded according to how recently they’ve been worked on — so your most important information is available immediately.

What's new

Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteer testers, this version fixes all known significant bugs:
• Various crashes.
• Data upload problems.
• Table row issues.

Also in this version:
• Better reporting of errors from Basecamp server.
• Better handling of non-admin user accounts.

Caveats for users with non-admin privileges:
• Company data is limited to those companies with access to the same projects as the user.
• User data may be severely limited or entirely unavailable.
• Message categories are only available in Outpost if they contain messages already.

We are working with 37signals on Basecamp API updates to resolve these issues.
