Backup Utility

PassDiary is equipped with powerful “Backup Utility” that can be used to backup your Passwords on a PC/Mac with Java installed. The Desktop software for PC (Windows) and Mac makes the transfer of passwords from your iPhone/iPod application to your computer and vice-versa a seamless task.
The file exported to PC/Mac uses 256 Bit encryption security. Your backup EPK file on PC cannot be opened on a PC by any other program. Desktop utility will never connect to Internet and all your passwords are safe with 256 Bit encryption security used to encrypt backup file.
You can see your passwords using Desktop Utility only on your MAC now! Desktop utility now works for Lion OS too!!
Backup Utility is useful if you are 1) Resetting your device to factory settings 2) Formatting your desktop/removing iTunes or re-installing iTunes 3) Switching to a new iPhone/iPod.
iTunes provides backup features but it may not necessarily support backups in situations mentioned above.
