SpriteDance makes you the virtual choreographer for a group of dancers (cut-out images or 'sprites') on a background stage. Position your dancer with simple gestures then adjust the time and set a new pose for your dancer. That's it. Repeat this until your dancer moves where you want it when you want it. You can adjust these keyframed poses at any time, and work with one or several dancers at the same time.
When you are happy with your animation, save it as a standard mp4 movie that you can copy to your computer using iTunes, save directly to the iPad photo album, or upload to your YouTube account to share with select friends or the whole world. For live presentations, just connect your iPad to an external video display using the VGA connector from Apple, and play your animation directly to the display from within the app.
While SpriteDance comes with a huge library of sprites, you can easily import your own directly from the iPad photo album, or drop them into the app through iTunes. This makes it easy to use any of the millions of PNG images with transparent backgrounds you can find on the web as dancers in your own productions. SpriteDance also lets you create dancers from text using any of the built-in iPad fonts, with text and outlines in any color.
SpriteDance includes a set of stages to get you started quickly, or you can pick any image in your Photo Album to use for an animation background. And because you can save any frame of your animation back to the photo album, SpriteDance is also great for compositing still frames from different graphic elements and text.
