For photo and film shoots, it is essential to know the position of the sun during the day so you can plan your setups in advance.
Sunrays is the most useful tool for this task for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Sunrays displays the position of the sun for every hour from sunrise to sunset. Either on a map, or on a neutral background.

The loction can be freely chosen. Either via GPS or by entering the name of the city. The integrated database contains over 21,000 cities worldwide.

The date can also be freely chosen.

The map can be moved and zoomed. Thus, you can place the diagram exactly where you need it. (For the map an internet connection is required.)

The current image can be saved as a photo on the device itself, and sent by email.

Geographic / magnetic north / south can be set. The deviation is calculated automatically.
GPS and localization function, as well as the compass are supported.
