YATDL (Yet Another To Do List)
You're probably thinking "WHY!?" It's only logical to ask such a profound question when the App Store™ is riddled with almost every variation of To-Do List application you can think of. Well, as it happens we didn't find one we wanted. Sure, we can use TaskMetrics to keep track of it, but for those we really didn't need to keep track of time, it was an overkill. We needed something simpler. So, we went to the (figurative) drawing board and thought about how we usually keep a To-Do list.
Judging from how we used to use a piece of paper (or an index card) to jot down a list of things that need to be done, we tried to emulate just that. There are no categories, priorities, or deadlines in this app. Since we usually put what we need to do first or important items at the top, we added manual sorting. Sometimes we add additional info on the margins for each item... so we added "note" and made the item expand and contract to show the notes (along with date time created and completed) when the To-Do item is touched.
If you need a no-nonsense, easy-to-use, To-Do List without all the bells and whistles that complicate what should be effortless, I think our YATDL would do the job for you.
