Dialetto Piemontese (Piedmont Slang)
Chosen as the site for the 2006 Winter Olympics, Turin is the capital of Italy's northwestern region of Piedmont, and was once the capital of Italy.
Turin is well-known as the home of the Shroud of Turin and Juventus FC, headquarters of Fiat and Lancia automobile manufacturers.Furthermore the Piedmont region is famous for all kinds of food, often with a French style. Grissini (Bread Sticks) were also invented in Turin.
