Nattknappen
The work of Nattknappen is managed by the city-police co-operating with voluteers of the police force. Its purpose is to create a safe environment for everyone in the area of Stockholm county on Friday and Saturday nights between 10.00 pm and 03.30 am.
It is not unusual that people feel fear and unsafe walking the streets at night. Enen though the fear is more profound than the very risk of beeing victim of a crime, it is an actual problem for a lot of people.
A common method when you feel unsafe is to call somebody or petending to call i.e. a friend while going from one place to another. In case you do not have anybody to call, there is Nattknappen (08-50 44 66 66), where you can talk to one of the voluteers mentioned above.
