Includes the King James Version Bible plus 39 other Bibles, Bible reference titles and devotionals free upon registration. Hundreds of other titles (NIV, ESV, etc.) are available for purchase. All Bibles and books are "offline" -- no Internet connection is required after download.
Already a Laridian customer? PocketBible can use any of your previously purchased books and Bibles (no matter which platform you originally purchased them for). If you use PocketBible on other iOS devices or even your Windows PC, you can synchronize your personal data (notes, bookmarks, highlights) between devices.

* Recognizes LBK files created by Laridian BookBuilder and dropped in the PocketBible Documents folder in iTunes File Sharing.
* Strips asterisks and some other special characters out of text before reading it to make Bibles like the Complete Jewish Bible easier to listen to.
* Fixed a behavior that caused the wrong dictionary to be displayed when looking up Strong's numbers.
* Fixed a bug in which doing "Back" followed by clicking on a Strong's number link caused the Bible to go to the verse you just came back from.
* Worked around a change in behavior in iOS 5 that caused "Add Note" from the context menu to fail.
* Changed the "nothing found" messages in the list of notes, highlights and bookmarks to make it more clear that you haven't lost any data, but rather there are no note, highlights, or bookmarks in this particular book.
PREVIOUS VERSIONS
* Double-tap on any image to open it in a separate window that can be panned and zoomed.
* If only one book is open in a tab, use that book's abbreviation for the title of the tab.
* Minor fixes for iOS 3.2 and earlier.

* Automatically remove damaged books to avoid continual error messages.
* Fixed a problem with the HTML Tags menu in the note editor.
* Don't let PocketBible start talking after an alarm, phone call, or other interruption.
* Fixed a problem in which PocketBible was limited to two panes even after upgrade to Advanced Feature Set.
* Minor fixes to Autostudy when a previously installed book is removed.
* Minor changes to the default Autostudy CSS styles.
