Tamil is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly by Tamil people of the Indian subcontinent. It has official status in India, Sri Lanka and Singapore. It is also spoken in many other parts of the world by emigrant communities. About 70 million speak the language.

This application is a dictionary that contains more than 2,600 definition in both English and Tamil. This is a quick way for to look up a word to find it's meaning. Both native speaker and fairly new to the Tamil language will appreciate this app.

What's new

Free update!

In this update a new tab is added to the bottom called Flash Card. Flash Card makes learning the languages much easier. It will randomly go through the words in the dictionary. As you tap it will reveal the defintion. It's great for students as well as someone who wants to memorize the words.
