WaEiWa Jpn-Eng,Eng-Jpn Dictionary

WaEiWa is a Japanese-English and English-Japanese dictionary for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It's quick, easy to use, and has an intuitive interface. No internet connection is needed.
WaEiWa uses the JMdict dictionary file from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group. Examples are from the Tanaka Corpus which is now maintained within the Tatoeba Project.
Note:
WaEiWa is mainly for Japanese speakers or those who learns Japanese and can read Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana. To input Japanese, you need to enable Japanese keyboard from "Settings > General > International > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard...". Romanization is not supported.

- Word jump by tapping. Tap any word in the description to look up the word. To show context menu tap and hold the word.
- 150,000 headwords for Japanese-English, 160,000 for English-Japanese

- Lookup by Hiragana for Kanji headwords is available for Japanese-English (but no Romaji)
