Wolfram Tides Calculator

The Wolfram Tides Calculator will become your go-to guide for tide information. Calculate the present tide or today's high and low tides, do historical computations, or plan your vacation using the tide forecast. The app can automatically detect your current location or provide data from around the world.

Includes bonus extras:

- Sunrise, sunset, and moon phases
- Properties of oceans, including the speed of sound therein
- Sun exposure information and UV forecasts
- Weather forecast, history, and current look-ups
- Pressure under water computations

Tide predictions proceed by collecting data from tide measurement stations and then extrapolating using a standard mathematical and physical model. This means that the Wolfram Tides Calculator can only give historical, present, and future tide information for locations for which there are tide stations. Presently Wolfram|Alpha has information from more than 2,000 tide stations around the world. If you believe that there is a tide station near you, but we are not reporting data from it, please post the location of the tide station, including a URL if possible.
