- Partial support for Twitter's t.co and twit.tl URL shortener. t.co is a compulsory auto-shortening by Twitter that will be turned on for everyone sometime soon. - Completely switched from json-framework to YAJL.
- New placeholder avatars.
- Animations are now programmed differently.
- Re-implemented loading at startup using Grand Central Dispatch, which fixes a couple of bugs and makes the UI more responsive when loading tweets.
- Removed option to use old RT-style retweets.
- Some graphics updated for the Retina display.

Fixes:
- Smoother image viewer zooming
- Now ignores touches during transitions.
- Much better touch detection in main view bottom bar using the new built-in gesture recognizer stuff.
- Fixed UI lockup when loading a conversation with tweets cached on disk. Conversation shows up instantaneously. Uses the new Grand Central Dispatch stuff.
- Fixed stoppage of conversation loading when tapping on a tweet while it's still loading.
- Fixed lag in account selector when selecting same account.
- Fixed username and password not displayed when editing an account's credentials.
- Fixed auto-selection of wrong account in compose tweet account picker.
- Fixed a few memory leaks.
- Fixed retweet detail viewer's translate bug, where it will translate the wrong text.
