NEWS: Version 3.0 now available brings the ability to Chat with friends who aren't online. Send them a message and they'll get a Push alert letting them know they have a message (or photo, contact info, or audio message) waiting!

Chat Master provides multi-media chat and information sharing across the internet or on a local network.

Now also allows you to invite friends to get Chat Master via SMS text message ( similar to Loopt ).

Features:
- Multi-party instant message (IM) chat
- Personalized icons
- Record and send audio notes for that personal touch.
- Share photos from your device camera or photo library at wifi speeds
- Share contact information from your contact list

Advantages over other chat applications:
- Works even on many networks where chat providers such as AIM or MSN have been blocked
- In Local mode, messages are sent device-to-device and are not logged on a central server as with major chat providers
- Audio capabilities similar to VOIP applications like fring but without any usage charges.
- Similar to having MMS capability on the iPhone.

Important usage notes:
- Version 2.X must be installed and running on every device with which you wish to connect. Requires a wifi connection to connect.
- Chat traffic is transmitted across the network, so be cautious, especially on public or untrusted networks
- Photos taken directly from the camera are large and require a lot of time and memory to transfer.
- Conserve system resources by saving images to your library and clearing history often.
