Information from your device is collected
when you send an SMS message in case anyone uses this app for illegal or harassing purposes and the authorities request the logs from our servers. We have implemented a monitoring program that detects keywords for threatening emails. DO NOT USE THIS APP TO THREATEN ANYONE. Your msg id is uniquely identified by our servers if your phone number is not valid (ie you use itouch for example). Your unique device ID can be tracked by Apple and you can be found. Your logs are collected for legal protection on our part in case someone uses this app in an Illegal or Harassing way and the authorities request our logs.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time.

SMS Buddy is an SMS text messing system for your itouch or iphone which sends FREE (OUTBOUND ONLY - read on) messages to anyone in the US. The recipient CANNOT send a reply back to this app at this time, HOWEVER the user CAN reply back if they reply to the blue link@txt.att.net in the SMS message which will go to your email.
Replies will work IF you use a 10 digit phone number in your FROM field and the recipient has to touch the BLUE FRM: field which will bring up your default email to send back to you. If you simply reply next to the 'send' field, it will not work.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT an MMS messenger!
MMS is what you want if you want to attach
images or other attachments.
SPECIAL NOTES: The receiver (with version 1.0) has no way to know who the sender is. We are not held responsible for your use of this app if legal issues arise from YOUR use of this app. We log all text msgs in case legal action is required.
NOTE: ALL US carriers will be available if you email us a missing carrier within 1 day, your app will update the new list! Other SMS messengers do not do this which allows this one to be very dynamic and change as things change on the fly.
International Carriers are available as well if you email me the SMS domain and its name.
Charges will potentially apply to the person(s) you send text messages to based on their own SMS plan.
Replies to your SMS text messages will show up in your default email account on the iphone or itouch, NOT back to your iphone or itouch.
This service comes with NO gurantee by using this app at this time. Reliability will depend on server uptime (both ours and the recipients) and ISP uptime.

There is a live updated bug list on the
app so if any problems arise I can
communicate them directly to you as
they are found. Since this app is currently free, there may be a few bugs
to work out, but I will be working towards
more features/fixes based on your input.
