TapText - Parent Edition is an app that allows you to send over 75 different prewritten text messages to your children with only a few taps of the iPhone or iTouch screen.

Tell up to 4 kids at once to call home, or get home, or come to dinner. Tell one kid to take out the trash, another not to forget to pick up his sibling, and remind a third kid that money doesn't grow on trees!

What's more, the text messages do not cost you anything to send since they go out through your email account and are converted to text messages by the receiving carrier. Your kids receive your messages as text messages.

Even better, the messages are written in proper English and not in that ridiculous "text language" that these whippersnappers want you to learn.

You can select the children's names and phone number right from your address book so it is possible to use this app and never have to type a thing. Just tap - don't type. Once you select the kid's names, numbers, and cell phone companies you will never have to do it again. The app saves the info for up to four children. Coming soon - the "Octomom" version with buttons for up to 8 children.

You will need an email account installed on you iPhone or iTouch in order to use this app. You will also need to know which cellular network each child uses. This probably is not a problem since I am sure you get stuck with the bill each month.
