True SMS - Life Saver
Avoid texting while driving using pre-made messages (while on a quick stop) and send FREE, Unlimited SMS messages from your iPhone or iPod Touch. And not just only for USA and Canada but other countries too! But Wait, There's more!
•*• Other apps may look inexpensive but later you have to pay more, or they impose limits. Where else do you get unlimited FREE SMS messages at this price? Nowhere... The new version 1.2 has a new friendlier user interface and we have more coming soon. An iPad version is also in development which as all upgrades will be FREE to paid customers.

• Send any message you write or a pre-defined message from our pre-made list of 120+ for FREE within the U.S.A., Canada, U.K and other countries. No limits, no gimmicks. PLEASE SEE LIST http://bit.ly/SMS_Coverage More countries/carriers added frequently. You do NOT have to know the carrier of the receiver! Just type a message or select a pre-made one and Send.
Our goal was to automatically send a reply when you are on the move without you doing anything. As soon as that is possible we will do it.
• Use a 10+ digit phone number. A phone # with a valid country code such as +44 123 456-7890 or +52 123 456-7890 or +1 (123) 456-7890 (USA and Canada are +1) Do not type it as 001..etc like to dial an international phone. Just country code and phone + sign not needed.
• True SMS - Life Saver requires OS 3.1 and an iPhone with WiFi/Edge/3G or an iPod Touch with a WiFi connection. You can receive replies via email if you don't have SMS or want email anyway.
•*• Do you Text and Drive? Yes, we have all done it and multiple fatalities are caused every year by texting and driving. Please Don't do it! Studies have shown that as many as 5 seconds of your attention are taken away from the road every time you try and compose a message.
True SMS - Life Saver is a step forward in letting you drive and not text. When a text comes in you can simply make a quick stop (or hand the phone to someone else) touch to pick a pre-defined answer and send, then off you go in seconds again. Please do so during a quick stop!
• You also have a choice to compose a custom answer that gets saved in the Preferences, and with the touch of a button send that message instead.
• Address Book integration included.
• Copy to clipboard any message selected.
• 120+ messages to choose from.
• Customizable message in Preferences.
• Send email feedback within True SMS.
• Show Server/Service status on startup.
• Play a sound when a message is sent. With pref on/off.
• Show your speed on systems with GPS with pref on/off.
• Show character count when composing a message.
• Save and restore the last message composed and phone number sent to.
