Where the flock? (pro)
** Wired and ABC News feature 'Where The Flock' in recent coverage of the potential benefits of iPhone-based GPS tracking technology. **
"This app is bigger than Geezus!!" (Geezus is an iPhone app available for download)
GPS track your iPhone family and friends using Where The Flock (WTF)
WTF displays a Google map, along with your home, office and a "shared" location.
Unlike other GPS trackers, you SEE where family and friends are relative to your home, office and shared location.
- All information is updated automatically every 500 meters
- WTF captures how fast a user is travelling
- Shared bookmarks enable friends and family to mark the map with a location to meet.
- Parked car is bookmarked AUTOMATICALLY (ParknDart feature requires the use of an iPhone car charger)
Here are some examples of how WTF is more useful than the typical GPS tracker.
- Parents can track their children's speed and location while they are driving
- Spouses can see if either have left work and are heading home
- Friends can create a "shared" bookmark to indicate a meeting place
- Check to see if a loved one is stuck in traffic, or has safely arrived to their destination
With all this and more, the question remains... Where The Flock are you?
PLEASE NOTE: A Gmail/Google account is required. Registration for a google account is free.
