Can't wait for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, then this app is for you, the 2010 World Cup Countdown!
This countdown is loaded with features:
- RSS news feed: Use the default news feed for the World Cup latest news or change it to your favorite feed. Top 5 feeds are shown overlaid on top of the image and you can hide them using the 'arrow'. Tap a feed to open the URL and load the news feed in Safari.
- Comes with 16 team / country images, including: Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France, England, Spain, Mexico, USA, Switzerland, Netherlands, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Japan and Portugal.
- Add your own image! If you are not happy with the default images just add your own 320px wide by 480px high portrait image. Just load the image into iPhoto and sync the image with your iPhone or iPod touch, then use the "Set Image" button on the options pages to choose your picture.
- Now you can view the match schedule for all matches, including group matches, round of 16, quarter finals, semi finals and the finals. Match information and results will be updated frequently once the tournament begins via your WiFi or data connect. Click the "calendar" icon on the top right side of the screen to view the schedule.
Options are accessed by tapping the "gear" icon on the top right side of the screen.

Match schedules and results added. Now you can browse through the match schedule including teams, matches, venues and kickoff times. Results and group match details will be updated as the information becomes available where a data connection is available.
