Elfsteden RADIO
The 'Elfstedentocht' is a legendary speed-skating tour to skate all eleven Frisian cities. The total distance to skate is a almost 200 kilometers and the tour is always very harsh because it only takes place when it has been freezing for a long time and enough canals and lakes are frozen.
The last time the winter was good enough to organize this tour in the province of Holland was 1997.
'Elfsteden Fever' is up again now it looks like this event is going to be organized somewhere in February 2012.
