Golf-n-Scope

Golf-n-Scope is the first digital golf scope for the Apple iPhone that uses sophisticated image recognition combined with stadiametric range finding calculations to accurately estimate your distance to the golf flag. Golf-n-Scope will even suggest an appropriate club to use for the shot. Should Golf-n-Scope's flag identification need adjustment, a simple touch to the screen will allow you to zoom in and pinpoint the exact top and bottom of the flag.

To use Golf-n-Scope, simply touch the Target button and aim your iPhone so that the golf flag is visible in the targeting zone shown on the screen, then capture the image. Golf-n-Scope will identify the flag in the image and estimate the location of the flags top and bottom, then calculate the range based on the apparent height of the flag and display your distance to the flag as well as a club suggestion.

-Recommends clubs from a User Defined list of clubs, rather than a pre-defined set of clubs.
-Created an interface to view current clubs and their effective ranges.
