Le Leggende dell'Inter
16 Maggio 2009. Per la quara volta consecutiva l'Inter è Campione d'Italia.
In 101 anni di storia la squadra nerazzurra ha sempre partecipato ai campionati di Serie A ed è l'unica a non aver mai subito retrocessioni di categoria, vincendo 17 scudetti, 5 Coppe Italia, 4 Supercoppe italiane, 2 Coppe dei Campioni, 2 Coppe Intercontinentali e 3 Coppe UEFA. Ha terminato il campionato 17 volte prima, 13 volte seconda e 16 volte terza.
Nell'arco di un secolo sono tanti i giocatori che hanno dato lustro alla maglia nerazzurra e che l"hanno fatta diventare la "Beneamata" del calcio italiano.
Questa applicazione si ripropone di raccontarvi, attraverso le immagini, i protagonisti e le statistiche, questa storia straordinaria.
A partire dai leggendari esordi legati a Giuseppe Meazza, Il "Balilla", due volte campione del mondo con la nazionale, che negli anni Trenta vince tre scudetti, una Coppa Italia, ed è tre volte capocannoniere del campionato. Meazza, con 197 gol, è anche il miglior marcatore di sempre della storia nerazzurra e dopo la sua morte nel 1979 gli viene dedicato lo stadio di San Siro. Altri campioni dell'Inter di quegli anni sono Ugo Locatelli, Giovanni Ferrari, Aldo Campatelli, Annibale Frossi.
La prima grande Inter del dopoguerra vince due scudetti consecutivi nel 1953-54. I campioni dell'epoca sono lo svedese Skoglund, che fa impazzire i difensori avversari e divertire i propri tifosi con le sue giocate, l'ungherese Nyers, fenomenale cannoniere, e l'indimenticato Benito Lorenzi detto "Veleno" per il suo carattere da attaccabrighe. Importantissimi per quella squadra sono anche Gino Armano, la prima ala tornante calcio italiano, e il portiere Giorgio Ghezzi.
Nella stagione 1958/59 Antonio Valentin Angelillo stabilisce il record di gol nei campionati a 18 squadre, 33 in 33 partite.
Dal 1960 al 1967 la Grande Inter guidata da Helenio Herrera vince quasi tutto. I leader di quella squadra straordinaria sono il regista spagnolo Luisito Suarez, Mario Corso, Giacinto Facchetti, Armando Picchi e Sandro Mazzola, ma anche Tarcisio Burgnich, il brasiliano Jair e Angelo Domenghini. Alla fine degli anni Sessanta arriva anche un altro grandissimo cannoniere, Roberto Boninsegna.
Nel 1979/80 l'Inter domina il campionato grazie all'apporto di campioni come "Spillo" Altobelli ed Evaristo Beccalossi. A metà degli anni Ottanta arriva Karl Heinz Rummenigge. Nel 1988/89 arriva lo scudetto dei record per i campionati a 18 squadre grazie a giocatori come Beppe Bergomi, Lothar Matthaeus, Andy Brehme e Walter Zenga.
Negli anni '90 inizia la nuova era Moratti, la squadra vince per tre volte la coppa Uefa e schiera campioni di livello mondiale, come Ronaldo e Roberto Baggio.
Il resto è storia recente. L'Inter domina il campionato italiano con giocatori come Ibrahimovic, Crespo, Cambiasso, Stankovic, Cruz, agli ordini del capitano Javier Zanetti.
