SailTrac 3D Race Viewer

Virtual Spectator™ SailTrac 3D™, the official 3D animated yacht race viewer for the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09 is now available for the iPhone. Track the team’s progress as they sail around the globe. Racing commenced in October 2008 from Alicante, Spain and the race finishes in St Petersburg in late June 2009. SailTrac 3D is an application for the iPhone that has many similar features to the web browser version which tracks yachts around globe in the greatest ever ocean race. With the iPhone Application, users now have a convenient way to monitor the race progress. Features include orbital and yacht camera views, race leg selection, leaderboard and yacht telemetry.

What's new

- All leg data is now packaged with the application.

- Connection status has been removed since all the leg data is packaged within the application, and thus no data is required to be downloaded.

-3D yacht representing each race team.
