Sports Rosters
One of the constants at sports events is the question, who is player 47? (or some variant of that).
It's common for parents to be carrying around a laminated card (or a whole set of them) with the names and numbers of the teams that they are interested in.
It's also common for those cards to be in the car or sitting on the desk at home when you need to find that information.
Using this app, as long as you have your iPhone/Touch, you have the rosters, in editable form.
When another person asks you for the information, if they have the app, you just go to the teams screen, select "Share Team" and have them press "Receive Team" and in a few seconds, they have the team information. You can then "Unshare Team" or select another team in your rosters to share that as well (using Bluetooth sharing).
Also compatible with loading teams from a web site. See lavin-apps support site for xml format for stored teams for our simplified format or if your site is hosted through LeagueAthletics.com just use the Downloads tab and your organization name to load any team (or from the visiting teams site to see their players in a roster form).
What's new
Now capable of loading rosters from any site hosted through LeagueAthletics.com who make their rosters available. Just select the Downloads button, type in your organization (typically like "myleague.com") and hit Get Organization. You will get to select from the set of seasons that that organization has posted and then select the team from that season. (Note network connectivity is of course required for this to work).
Some minor bugs fixed as well.
